The auxiliary toilet waste tank has a capacity of 48 US gallons and is mounted below the two existing tanks on an A300-600. When the existing tanks are full the waste overflows into the auxiliary tank.

The waste tank is composite moulded construction comprising of laminated fibreglass skins and nomex honeycomb core. The tank and mountings are designed to flight and crash loads of CS25.
